Coronavirus: 20 million people have been vaccinated in the UK

The UK has already vaccinated 20 million people with the first dose, and authorities are delighted with the result. However, the restrictions remain in force. This weekend, however, the beautiful weather drove the British out of their homes and absolutely all measures were ignored. As of tomorrow, the Norwegian capital Oslo is tightening quarantine measures to combat the sharp rise in infections with the new Coronavirus caused by the new British strain. All restaurants, non-essential shops will be closed, and high schools will take some online courses. In France, the number of new COVID-19 infections is growing rapidly again, and half of the new cases are caused by the British strain of Coronavirus. So in 20 regions, measures have been taken to keep infections under control.

"We remind people to keep their physical distance, to avoid crowded places and to have their faces covered, in order to avoid contamination," said a public official.

Overseas, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the most reputable infectious disease expert in the United States, encourages Americans to get vaccinated with any of the three approved vaccines. The last one is the one produced by Johnson & Johnson. At the same time, the immunologist announced that American minors up to 12 years old will be vaccinated at the beginning of 2022.

"Minors over the age of 12 are to be immunized by the end of the year at the earliest, but most likely in the first quarter of 2022. High school youth will be immunized in the fall," said Anthony Fauci, an immunologist.

Currently, in the United States, only people over the age of 16 can be immunized.
