Temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius forecast in France
Temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius are announced in France. Almost half of the French territory was placed on orange alert on Friday, in some places, the cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse, temperatures of over 40 degrees Celsius were reported in the early afternoon, Moldova 1 reports.
In the center of France, the maximum temperatures will be between 39 degrees, including in Paris, where, at 14:00 local time, 35 degrees were already recorded. Maximum values of over 35 degrees Celsius were recorded in this area for six consecutive days, a phenomenon that has not happened in France since the sad summer of 2003, when the heat wave killed 15,000 people.
Also, the minimum temperature values will not fall below 20 degrees Celsius during the night in many of the cities in the center of France and on the Mediterranean coast.
