The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party, Maia Sandu promises to attract investments of two billion lei annually for village modernization projects. In a video posted on a social network, the electoral contestant says that the money will be allocated by European partners for job creation in villages, aqueducts and sewerage, repair of schools and kindergartens and for waste management. According to Maia Sandu, the town halls will be able to directly access the funds for community development, Mesager reports.
"I promise to bring two billion lei annually for village modernization projects. With the help of European partners, we will bring resources to each village, for job creation, for aqueducts and sewage, for the repair of schools and kindergartens, for waste management, for book funds in village libraries and for scholarships for talented children in rural areas”, said Maia Sandu.
Maia Sandu is the candidate No.6 on the ballot paper.
