CEC will open 25 polling stations for district no.48
25 polling stations will open for voters from the uninominal constituency no.48, Slobozia, Tiraspol and Bender, for the parliamentary elections set for October 20. A decision in this regard was approved by the members of the Central Electoral Commission, at the meeting on September 13, Radio Moldova reports.
The Interior Ministry (MAI), based on the powers assigned to it in line with the provisions of the electoral legislation, will take all necessary measures regarding the maintenance of public order in the localities where the polling stations are established, informs the CEC.
Also, the CEC appealed to national and international observers and to the Joint Control Commission to monitor the peaceful carrying out of the electoral process, as to guarantee the security of the voting process at polling stations in the security area.
