Voters in Hânceşti urged to check electoral rolls

The voters in single-member constituency No. 38 Hânceşti can check the accuracy of the electoral registers until March 14 inclusive. This can be done at polling stations and online, on the official website of the Central Election Commission (CEC) www.cec.md or the website www.verifica.cec.md.

In a press release, the CEC said the voter rolls for the new parliamentary elections of March 15 were transmitted to the electoral bureaus of polling stations.

According to the Commission, the main voter rolls are compiled based on information from the State Register of Voters and include all the citizens who can vote in elections and have the domicile or residence on the territory of a polling place. As many as 61,571 people can vote in the established 44 polling stations.

Under the electoral legislation, the voters can go to the electoral bureau of the polling place at their place of domicile or residence to ask to be included in the rolls or excluded and to correct the mistakes made when writing data about oneself or about other voters based on confirmatory documents.
