The Constitutional Court will examine today the results of the parliamentary elections
Following the Central Electoral Commission’s (CEC) report and minutes on the results of the February 24th parliamentary elections, the Constitutional Court will examine today, March 9, the legality of parliamentary elections and the validation of the mandates of the MPs.
As stated by the Electoral Code, the Constitutional Court confirms or denies the legality of the elections within five days after receiving the documents from the CEC, but not sooner than the final settlement by the courts of the filed appeals. At the same time, the Constitutional Court validates the mandates of the elected deputies and confirms the lists of alternate candidates.
