Lower rates for natural gas

The price for final consumers connected to the natural gas network will be 4.3 lei per cubic meter, which is over 12% less than the price approved in 2018. The decision was made by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE), reports Radio Moldova News.

„The regulated prices for the supply of natural gas by JSC “Moldovagaz” depending on the exit from the low pressure distribution networks - 4,298 lei per m/cube. The regulated prices for natural gas supplied to the final consumer are mandatory for all enterprises, which were imposed the public service obligation until the approval of regulated prices for them," said the main consultant of the Energy Policy Department, Sergiu Jomiru.

TRM.MD recalls that, in September, JSC "Moldovagaz" requested ANRE to revise the tariffs and regulated prices for natural gas.
