Support for business in Moldova
The business environment in Moldova will benefit from more support in the conditions of the crisis generated by the Coronavirus pandemic. In this regard, the International Development Association and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide Moldova with US $ 15 million in a project to modernize fiscal administration. A report in this regard was positively approved today by the Parliamentary Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance, reports Mesager.
The money provided by development partners will help improve revenue collection, taxpayer services and tax compliance by supporting the Government in implementing business support measures, including maintaining the level of employment in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thus, the support will contribute to the financing of two programs to support the entrepreneurial activity: the mechanism of subsidizing the salary payments and the VAT reimbursement program.
