The average salary in the economy increased by more than nine percent
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the average salary in the economy increased in the third quarter of this year by more than nine percent, compared to the same period of 2019, reports Moldova 1.
Thus, during July-September, the average salary was 8,074 lei. Most of all, the salaries of employees in health and social assistance increased - by 26 percent. Remuneration in the extractive industry increased by more than 12%.
Currently, IT specialists receive the most, around 18,000 lei. The employees of banks and insurance companies have salaries of over 14,000 lei, and those in the energy field earn about 13,800 lei per month.
At the opposite pole, there are employees in public catering with just over 5,100 lei, followed by employees in agriculture who have 5,300 lei, but also in culture who raise a salary of 5,600 lei.
Statistical data include economic enterprises with four or more employees and all budgetary institutions, regardless of their number.
