DA platform seeks the resignation of the leadership of the Competition Council

The Dignity and Truth Platform (DA) seeks the resignation of the Competition Council's leadership after fuel prices rose sharply, Mesager reports.

In a post on Facebook, the deputy of the DA Platform Alexandru Slusari claims that there were no premises for the increase of fuel prices in the conditions in which during December the crude oil quotations rose by only three dollars per barrel.

In this context, the DA Platform demands the resignation of the leadership of the Competition Council  and the questioning of all the decision makers responsible for the situation created on the petroleum products market and to delegate to ANRE the right to set the fuel price.

We remind you that, on January 16, gasoline became more expensive by one leu and 60 bani, diesel by one leu and ten bani, and the price of liquefied gas increased by 60 bani.
