Over 85 million lei, granted to youth in the form of credit
The program "Youth Credit Facility", launched at the initiative of the Ministry of Finance, has already 130 beneficiaries and expanded to 28 districts in Moldova, reports Moldova 1 TV.
After 10 months of activity, the amount of loans granted to young entrepreneurs is 85.3 million lei. Most of the beneficiaries invested in the procurement of agricultural technology, mineral fertilizers, greenhouses, planting material, connection to electrical networks and aqueduct, furniture manufacturing machinery. Loans are offered at a lower interest rate by at least 2 percentage points compared to the annual interest rate.
The Ministry of Finance announces that a sum of 230 million lei is necessary for funding this project.
