The Forum of Representatives of the Union of Consumers Cooperatives was held in Chisinau

Moldova will be supported in all international bodies to benefit from the highest standards related to production, marketing and service delivery. The support comes from the International Consumers Coalition Alliance (AICC), whose president, Ariel Guarco, has participated today in Chisinau in the Forum of Union of Consumers Cooperatives. He assures that several Moldovan entrepreneurs will soon benefit from exchanges of experience within the best institutions in the world, the Mesager reports.

According to the entrepreneurs, the association with the Union of Consumer Cooperatives allows better preparation of the products for export, but also the easier organization of the retail and catering services in the country.

Only in retail trade, consumer co-operatives have a turnover of over one billion lei.

Adhering to the International Consumer Alliance offers the opportunity to share experience with the world's largest specialists.

"We have a global role to promote the interests of our members, to train them and to facilitate dialogue with the United Nations, the European Commission and the World Labor Organization. We will create a stable dialogue for Moldova to be able to solve the challenges it faces," said AICC President Ariel Guarco.

Ariel Guarco also had a meeting today with Prime Minister Pavel Filip.

"We have taken many steps to stimulate the business environment and everything to happen on the economic dimension. So together with the government team we have approved and developed many reforms that have been implemented for the business environment. We started from the reform regulating the institutions with control functions causing the entrepreneurs a lot of problems yet before the tax reform," said Premier Pavel Filip.

The International Cooperative Alliance has more than three million member offices and cooperatives, with more than 250 million employees, representing 10 percent of the world's employed population.
