VAT rate for the HoReCa sector to be reduced

The VAT rate for the HoReCa sector could be reduced from 15% to 12%. This provision is contained in the draft budgetary-fiscal policy. The Ministry of Finance announces that it has completed the process of public consultation and approval of the document, which was completed with several provisions, informs Moldova 1.

According to the project, the reduced VAT rate of 12% will be applied to accommodation services, as well as for food or beverages, except for alcoholic ones.

The measure aims to ensure the support of these enterprises, which is affected by the consequences of the pandemic crisis.
