100 million euros for the project "Solid waste in the Republic of Moldova"
The European Investment Bank will grant a loan of 100 million euros to our country for the project "Solid waste in the Republic of Moldova", reports Mesager.
The first installment of the project, in the amount of 25 million euros, will reach soon the state budget. The decision regarding the ratification of the financing contract with the international institution was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, in the meeting held on Friday, April 10.
The money is to be used in the construction of new sanitary warehouses, composting facilities, material recovery, but also for mechanical biological treatment.
It is also planned to install containers for mixed and separate waste collection.
