Air Moldova resumes its regular flights, but not all passengers can board

Only citizens with residence visas and residence permits in the countries to which they intend to travel will be accepted for flights operated by Air Moldova, from Moldova, between May 22 and 28. Passengers must also check with the authorities of the state in which they intend to travel or transit any imposed travel or entry restrictions. In case of non-compliance with these restrictions, the airline will not accept the passenger on the flight. This was announced this morning on the company's official website.

Restrictions are also imposed for flights to the Republic of Moldova. Only passengers of the Republic of Moldova, family members of these citizens will be accepted for flights to the Republic of Moldova; persons holding a long-stay visa, a residence permit or a document equivalent to a residence permit issued by the authorities; persons traveling in a professional interest evidenced by a visa, residence permit or other equivalent document; members of diplomatic missions and consular offices accredited in the Republic of Moldova, of international organizations / missions, as well as members of their families or personnel who can provide humanitarian aid.

In order to prevent the risk of coronavirus spread, additional protection measures are taken on all flights operated by the company. All passengers on flights operated by Air Moldova during this period are required to wear disposable masks and gloves.
