"Mihai Eminescu" National Theater marks 100 years of activity
This year, the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater celebrates 100 years of activity. The general director of the institution, Petru Hadârcă, says that during a century, the theater scene was full of the emotions and feelings of the most dedicated actors. This year, the theater will organize several activities dedicated to the centenary, Radio Moldova reports.
"This year, we will celebrate the Centenary Year of the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater. Every month we will try to celebrate this event through various projects, events. We know that a jubilee coin will also be issued by the National Bank. Poşta Moldovei will make an album dedicated to the theater. In August, at the National Museum, we intend to organize an exhibition dedicated to the scenographic painters who performed on the stage of the National Theater. With the National Library, I hope to make an exhibition of chronicles, of posters. With the National Theater we will organize a tour around the country (…) ", said Petru Hadârcă.
On the occasion of the centenary of the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater, Radio Moldova launches a rubric dedicated to this anniversary, which will be broadcast every Sunday throughout the year in the "Matinel de Weekend" show.
"In this new section, titled: 2021-Year of the Centenary at the "Mihai Eminescu" National Theater, you will hear throughout the year the voices of the actors from the "Mihai Eminescu" Theater, the voice of Petru Hadârcă, of many people of culture", said the editor-presenter, Alina Chiriac-Ivaşcu.
