Outdoor show at the Genesis Theater Art

The long-awaited event, the launch of cultural activities in compliance with the rigors imposed by the pandemic occurred. The first to break the ice and install an outdoor stage with limited seats for spectators was the Geneza Art Theater, where after five months of uncertainty and waiting, the emotional meeting between actors and spectators took place, Moldova 1 reports.

The arrival at the theater of the faithful friends of the Genesis Art Theater was like a show: with masks, measuring the temperature, disinfecting the hands at the entrance, keeping physical distance and, of course, with the joy of reuniting with the artistic act.

"I think that these masks prove that we are all eager to meet the spectators and protecting ourselves in this way will bring us closer to the moment when we will meet without masks. We seem to have a fear, but we understand that we are on the front line in terms of culture, art, theater," said Ludmila Burlaca, director.

As soon as some restrictions were lifted and outdoor activity was allowed, the Genesis Art team mobilized, installed a stage and improvised a performance hall on the terrace of the theater where there was previously a storage room.

In conditions totally different from those of the classic scene, the actors from Genesis Art inaugurated the 11th season with the comedy show "TOC". While waiting for the psychotherapist, the patients, bizarre characters, revealed their obsessions.

The first show after the restriction period was a challenge for the actors.

"Because it's August, because it's summer, we play comedies that are perfectly connected to the situation that, unfortunately, encompassed everyone and we will try to bring a note of optimism. We want the public to forget about the problems and understand that without art we can't go anywhere," said the actor Iurie Gologan.
