Bookfest International Book Fair in Chisinau, at a new edition

A new edition of the International Book Fair "Bookfest Chisinau" starts on August 28, starting at 12:00, in the International Exhibition Center "Moldexpo", Central Pavilion. During five days, the most important publishers of the Republic of Moldova and Romania await the readers with a rich editorial offer that includes books for children, school aids, but also a wide range of volumes in the most varied fields. In total, about 50 publishers will participate, which will exhibit over 50 thousand volumes.

Within the International Book Fair "Bookfest Chisinau" this year there will be several book launches and exhibitions; autograph meetings and sessions with writers and cultural people; intellectual and interactive games; outdoor readings; music halls; literary ashes; the campaign "Save the world by donating a book" will be launched. Visitors are expected with discounts on books for children and teenagers, gifts and raffles with prizes.

We mention that the event will run until September 1st. Admission is free within the Book Fair, which can be visited daily from 10:00 to 20:00, as well as at all events scheduled during it.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, the Romanian Cultural Institute, the "Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi" Institute for Romanians from Everywhere, the National Library of the Republic of Moldova, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova , Union of Publishers of the Republic of Moldova, Association of Publishers of Romania. The company “Teleradio-Moldova” is among the media partners of the event.
