"We are reborn together", concert in support of the National Philharmonic team

Famous creations from the repertoire of European composers resounded at the exceptional concert entitled "We are reborn together", organized in support of the team of the National Philharmonic "Serghei Lunchevici". The musical royal was broadcast online and took place in the context of the European Union (EU) Project "EU Visibility and EU Assistance in the Republic of Moldova 2020". Culture is the field that unites the past and the future of a society. In this sense, the EU is with the team of the National Philharmonic through the event that sensitized people from our country and abroad, reports Moldova 1.

At the beginning of the concert, the Ode to Joy, the EU Anthem, resounded in the interpretation of the Symphony Orchestra of the National Philharmonic "Serghei Lunchevici", under the baton of maestro Mihai Agafiţa. A brilliant creation by the composer Ludwig van Beethoven, who always brings a message of solidarity.

"The EU delegation contributes financially to the organization of this concert. The fire that took place was not only a huge damage for a monument of Chisinau, but also a shock for all those who believe in the universal values of culture. We are here to express our support for the people of Moldova and for the Philharmonic team. The capitalization of the cultural heritage was practically one of the key factors of the EU cooperation with the Republic of Moldova, said the EU Ambassador to Chisinau. We will continue this support, which can target both historic buildings that have deteriorated over time and those destroyed by unexpected accidents," said Peter Michalko.

The concert lived up to expectations, as evidenced by the numerous comments from us and abroad posted on the sites where the royal music was broadcast. They appreciated the mastery of the instrumentalists from the Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, the kind conductor Mihai Agafiţa, the valuable soloists, as well as the Accordion Ensemble "Concertino". Among them excelled was Cătălin Advahov, the 15-year-old violinist from Chisinau, who the other day held street concerts and raised money to restore the Philharmonic.
