The creative people were rewarded

Tradition and prestige event at the International Academic Center "Mihai Eminescu" in the capital. Cultural personalities in the country and from abroad who excelled last year in their fields were awarded at the Gala of the International Union of Creative People, reports Moldova 1.

The tragic fate of the Bessarabia people who decided after the war to take refuge in Romania was described in the book "Footprints on Water" by the writer Mirela Penu from Bucharest, whose protagonist is Ion Cerin.

Poets, writers, playwrights, plastic artists, composers, as well as other valuable personalities have been awarded for their creative contribution to enriching the nation's cultural heritage.

Among the winners were also employees of Radio Moldova and the Public Television. It is about the composer Adrian Beldiman, for promoting sacred music among young people and the editor Galina Codreanu, for the cycle of shows about guiding young people in careers.

"People came from Giurgiu, Suceava, Bucharest, over 35 awards, but they were over a hundred works, the best ones were selected, what voices, what beautiful books, how beautiful people, what these people are special, they are the ambassadors of the culture of peace, which bear the name and prestige of the Republic of Moldova all over the world,” said Renata Verejanu, president of the International Union of Creative People.

The gala was also marked by recitals held by award-winning poets and musicians.
