A sculpture "Cusma lui Guguta" appeared in Chisinau

Cusma lui Guguta (Guguta's hat) "came out" of the book pages and turned into a sculptural composition. The main element of Spiridon Vangheli's story, which impressed thousands of children, was translated into a sculpture. The place where the work will be located will be identified by the municipality, in order to be as visible and known to the public as possible. Guguţă is one of the favorite characters of Moldovan children, and his roomy hat has become a symbol of friendship, Moldova 1 reports.

"It's a problem not so much for today, but for tomorrow, it's the problem of the children of the generations that come after us and that must lead to what we all started with," said writer Spiridon Vangheli.

The mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban, thanked the great writer for the beautiful things he accomplishes.

"We are going to identify the right place in the center of Chisinau, it is an extraordinary thing for all the infrastructure projects that are necessary, for the care we have now for the educational process. We need projects of this type, soul projects," said Ion Ceban.

Currently, the sculptural composition is in the courtyard of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.
