The "Christ Risen" exhibition, inaugurated at "Constantin Brâncuşi"

The beauty and spiritual light of the Easter holidays is anticipated by the exhibition "Christ Risen", inaugurated at "Constantin Brâncuşi" Gallery! The event is organized by the Union of Plastic Artists, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in partnership with the Metropolitan Church of Moldova, reports Moldova 1.

The religious songs performed by the boys' choir at the theological seminary in Chisinau were in harmony with the holiness of the icons, contemporary compositions of divine inspiration. Valeriu Vanga is passionate about a kind of art rarely practiced: the stained glass.

"Dealing with ceramics, I also make a stained glass, I have many works also at the Church of all the Romanian Saints. It represents Saint George whom I like as an icon, St. George is also on the Stefan cel Mare Flag," Valeriu Vanga said.

The "Christ Risen" exhibition has reached its third edition.

"This exhibition is in support of the iconographic artists of the Republic of Moldova, because we have an iconography section at the Union of Plastic Artists and this is the only exhibition where they can inscribe their works," said Dumitru Bolboceanu, President of UAP.
