Events dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Maria Bieşu's birth
"Maria Biesu - messenger and symbol of musical art in Moldova!" - is the generic of the manifestations dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of the famous singer who was born on August 3, 1935, in Volontiri, Ştefan-Voda, Moldova 1 reports.
Thus, on Monday, August 3, in the morning, flowers will be laid at the tomb of Maria Bieşu from the Central Cemetery of Chisinau. At 14:00, the National Library will host the music salon with creations performed by our famous singer, and at 17:00 the Humanities Department of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova will organize an anniversary event at the museum in Chisinau dedicated to the best Cio-Cio-San in the world, title obtained by Maria Bieşu in 1967 at the international competition in Japan.
