Two books by journalist Valeria Florea-Dascăl saw the light of day

"Tell me, life, that you love me" and the volume of short stories "From self-isolation, for descendants" - are the books of the writer and journalist Valeria Florea-Dascăl who saw the light of day during the pandemic. The last one was written even in the days full of uncertainty. Valeria Florea-Dascăl shared the joy of her editorial appearances with the viewers of the public television station Moldova 1 where she worked for several years and where she is known as the author of the show "Sketches of the journalist Valeria Dascăl", Moldova 1 reports.

At the beginning of March, Valeria Dascăl was about to publish the novel "Tell me, life, that you love me", but the pandemic put an end to the activities and our whole life was turned upside down. In such moments of uncertainty and turmoil, the idea of a new book came to her.

"I sat down at the table and wrote 24 pages on the computer. A work I titled "Out of self-isolation, for offspring." I thought of putting in the book the short stories that were written up to COVID, to show life as it was - good, bad, but it was ours, without masks, without gloves," says the writer Valeria Florea-Dascăl.

In the second part "From self-isolation", Valeria Dascăl wrote about the COVID-19 virus, about scared people, left without work, about deserted streets, the courage and struggle of doctors for the lives of others, but also about the personalities who died during this period. The book is even a document, the events being commented on by a subtle observer of life. Meanwhile, the novel "Tell me, life, that you love me" also appeared, which has a unique history.

"I took almost all of the print and ran to the Dialysis Center 1 and the Dialysis Center 2 and gave it to the patients, the doctors, because they were the main characters of this novel. I wrote about them, being put by fate, when my sister passed last year to dialysis 3. I infiltrated myself in their lives, I live with their lives," says Valeria Dascăl.

Due to the pandemic, Valeria was not present at her son's wedding in Vienna, but sent him the new books as a gift.

We will read about other feelings and observations during the pandemic in the following books by Valeria Dascăl, because the writer continues to note the changes in our world and the struggle for life.
