Collection of children's songs "I want to sing myself" by Eugen Mamot

A long-awaited collection of songs titled suggestively: "I want to sing myself" adds a new tab in the activity of exploiting the musical creation by the composer and conductor Eugen Mamot. The collection of pieces for the students of the primary classes is also welcomed in the context, in which the performers, the musical groups face the lack of a national repertoire. The first to play the songs harmoniously dressed by Eugen Mamot were the students from the small group of the "Lia-Ciocârlia" choir, reports Moldova 1.

The faces of the children were full of emotions and the pleasure of singing together about simple but important things such as friendship, love of parents, Romanian language, country and traditions. Interpreting these songs gives children a state of spiritual fulfillment and joy.

"I titled this cycle "I want to sing myself", as it arouses in every child the desire to sing. I underlined that it was booklet no.3, because so far I have edited two other booklets. I have included 30 songs for voice and piano for children in the primary classes. Since in school the foundation of music education is laid and if the teachers have where to select songs, children will not get bored at music hours," said the artist of the people, Eugen Mamot.

Parents, especially mothers, present in the classroom were thrilled that this kind of art, music is part of their children's lives.

The collection "I want to sing myself" represents a necessary educational support for music education teachers.

Eugen Mamot's work to restore the values of the national culture continues, in the course of its emergence is a new book about the personalities he has known.
