"Pro-Europa" Information Center in Comrat awarded the best drawings in the region

"Pro-Europa" Information Center in Comrat awarded the participants in the drawing competition, in the context of the project "Active participation of youth in social life". A record number of 190 students participated in the current edition. The 12 best drawings and quotes from the essays presented were published in the calendar for 2020. The project is funded by the Eastern Europe Fund and is supported by the Government of Sweden, reports Moldova 1 TV.

This is how our Planet looks in the vision of Natalia Horozova, who was awarded the 1st prize.

"I participated for the first time in this competition and I want to tell people that our world can become better, it depends on each of us. It is a joy that the drawing was selected for the calendar for September, the month I was born”, said the owner of the 1st prize, Natalia Horozova.

Other participants in the drawing and essays contest expressed their vision for the future of the planet, the role of man in the sustainable development of the world.

"I like to draw, I was inspired by the beauty of the park in Comrat where we like to walk with all the family," said the participant Elena Petcovici.

"It is a welcome competition, it is necessary, it stimulates our children, and they are glad that their talent is appreciated", said the mother, Tatiana Petcovici.

"I chose to write the essay on the ecology of our villages. I believe that everyone can contribute to making our place more beautiful and cleaner. I am honored that a quote from my essay has been included in the calendar”, said the participant from Vulcanesti, Oleg.

 "Pro-Europa" information center in Comrat offered young talents the chance to show their talent, and desire to live in a better world.

"A record number of 350 children participated in the competition. There were 300 drawings and almost 50 essays. The 12 best ones were included in this calendar for 2020", said the executive director of the" Pro-Europe"center, Irina Selezneva.

The authors of the most valuable drawings and essays were awarded. They received diplomas, books, and of course calendars, which will be offered to all donors, partners and educational institutions in the region.
