9th edition of the "Creanga Days" Festival starts today in Chisinau
The 9th edition of the "Creangă Days" Festival starts today, February 27, with flowers deposited at the bust of the writer from the Alley of Classical Writers of the Romanian Literature in Chisinau. The evocation of the great storyteller from Humulesti will continue at the "Ion Creangă" National Library for Children, with book exhibitions and readers’ dialogues with the writers about Creangă's work, Moldova 1 TV reports.
An unforgettable discussion with characters from Ion Creanga's creation will take place today at the lyceum that bears his name.
On February 28, the festival will continue with the "Ion Creanga - The Joy of Memory" symposium, organized by the Institute of Philology.
Creangă Days, which reached the ninth edition, started traditionally in Chisinau around the birthday of the writer and from 1 March they will continue at the "Bojdeuca lui Creangă" Museum in Iaşi, Humuleşti, Târgu-Neamţ.
