10 winners of the "Personality of the Year" award

Another 10 citizens of the Republic of Moldova became winners of the "Personality of the Year" award, instituted eight years ago by the International Association "Personality". The awards ceremony was held at the National Library of Chisinau and was organized by the president of the association, the academician, professor, emeritus economist of Moldova, Doctor honoris Causa, Serghei Evstratiev. Among the laureates of this year is the writer Arcadie Suceveanu, reports Radio Moldova.

"I enjoy this appreciation from the "Personality "Association. I think that my contribution in terms of president of the Writers' Union and my literary merits as author of books of poetry and essays have also been taken into consideration and if I am to refer to my activity from the Writers' Union, I am sure that this year it focused on the revival of the institution”, said Arcadie Suceveanu.

The winner of the "Personality" award became the academician Grigore Belostecinic, the rector of ASEM in Chisinau.

"We have to appreciate the involvement of Mr. Sergei Evstratiev, who is a scientist, a businessman and who has achieved many successes in his life. People need to be supported in order to achieve and produce goods and services for others who are their consumers. Here, Mr. Evstratiev understood this and promoted it by organizing these personalities designation of the previous year and not by offering a diploma but also by offering support, including from a financial point of view, which matters a lot to many people ”, said Grigore Belostecinic.

In the interview given by the president of the International Association "Personality", the academician Serghei Evstratiev said that the image of any state is created by its most significant personalities.

"We need to know people like this, to appreciate their important contribution in different spheres of activity. We need to deeply engrave their name and activity. They are an example for young people", said Sergei Evstratiev.

In order to award valuable and successful people, the "Personality" Association established the "Personality of the Country" and "Personality of the Year" awards, for different categories. The winners are awarded diplomas, badges, medals and money.
